This is an entry to the June 2020 monthly SVSLearn.com prompt.  It was a short story, and we were only allowed a single illustration.  We had to choose a moment to illustrate, and decide if it was a single full-page, a spot illustration, or a double-page spread. 

I decided to do a double-page spread with room for the text.  I imagined it intended for a magazine.

Just a note--no where in the world do you find jungles, monkeys, alligators and orange trees in the same ecosystem.  Jus' sayin'.  :)
